windows Job Reviews
Women who work in windows departments have an overall job satisfaction level of 5, 100% of them believe there is gender equality in their firms, and make an average salary range of $100k-$150k.
I've worked here for several years and have seen a good balance of both male and female managers with both being very supportive and treating everyone equally. Being in the engineering side of things I've always been used to being the only, or one of the very few females in the room/team and that's true as well but definitely improves when you happen to be with a female manager.
Even though the gender ratio is imbalanced, everyone I've worked with here acts professionally and gladly accepts diversity of many kinds. What matters here is what we can contribute or accomplish, not how we look or dress while doing so. CEO Satya Nadella was recently criticized for not encouraging women to speak up for themselves, but I think that's just because here at Microsoft, our work is allowed to speak for us, as it should.
