I hope Dakota Johnson is ready for her next phone bill.

This weekend, the actress shared her number with the entire crowd of New York City's Global Citizens Festival to take a stand with survivors of sexual assault. Sexual violence and the Brett Kavanaugh hearing were common themes throughout the event, which brings musicians and cultural icons together to raise pledges for a variety of causes, including gender equality and education.

According to E!, Johnson told the crowd "I want to help you—women and girls around the world—tell your story."

Then, she pulled out her iPhone and continued her speech.

"This is my phone number. I want you to call me and tell me your story in a voicemail. Or I want you to send me a message at [email protected] and tell me what you've gone through as a women or girl in the world that's been suffering," she said. "If we don't speak the same language, that's ok. We have a team for that. We'll translate it. And if you're going to threaten to hurt me, we have a team for that too."

Johnson plans to "compile these stories and get them heard" to "achieve a world where she is equal." You can watch her entire speech here

If you'd like to call and share your story, her number is 212-653-8806. And if you're a little starstruck, don't worry. You'll always get her voicemail box.

The message says: "This is Dakota Johnson. Please leave a voicemail after the tone and I will record and share your story so we can live in a world where she is equal. Thank you."

As someone who hates giving out my number (even on a business card), I have to hand it to Johnson for giving the public a way to reach her for such a good cause. #MeToo stories like Dr. Ford's are changing our culture of silence and striving to make our society more equal. We need to lift everyones voices up, just as Dakota is doing.

And while we're lifting everyone up, let's all just send some positive vibes to the intern who has to delete all the accidental dials and awkward silences from that voicemail box. You're doing great work.
