4. Machine Learning Specialist
Also projected to grow to six times its current size, this field values machine- and deep-learning. This may be worth looking into if you have experience using Python and Tensorflow. Machine learning specialists help develop algorithms that adapt to data and help machines make predictions. This career is sometimes the step people take after working as a machine learning scientist, and those in the field typically hold a master’s degree in computer science or a similar discipline. Companies hiring include giants such as Google, Apple, and Amazon. In addition to tech and internet companies, institutions of higher education are also often seeking these specialists.

1. Blockchain Developer
This big winner is projected to increase by a whopping 33 times its current size in the upcoming year! Because blockchain trainings are scarce, most programmers are self-taught. However, as cryptocurrency continues to increase in popularity, tutorials and certificate programs are becoming easier to find. One advantage of this field is that because it is so new, those just starting out still have a chance to make a name for themselves without being too far behind. Though its primary use is to record cryptocurrency, blockchain is capable of reading transactions from many different sources. Computer software and IT companies are looking to hire, particularly in San Francisco, New York City, and Atlanta.
