Im hoping to make a career change. Most of my recent experience has been with healthcare insurance, claims, coding and billing. I would like to transition into a the tech field possibly as a ux designer or front end developer. I am currently taking part in a software engineering pre-appreniceship, as well as the google ux design certification. (Aling with working 2 jobs) My question is where do i start? What types of jobs could i apply for later? If possible i would love to merge my passions fot healthcare and technogy. Right now im building my portfolio but changing careers feels overwhelming. Any suggestions, advice or encouragement are greatly appreciated.

Were my annual reviews too long winded and how do I get my underpaid direct reports larger than average salary increases?
Hi, I have two direct reports at a job I started at the beginning of the year. One is a more seasoned employee who has been doing the work of two employees imo for over a year and the other is a recent collect grad. We recently had our annual written reviews and I wrote about four or five paragraphs on their strengths and accomplishments, trying to point out specific things I thought were above average in terms of contributions. I also mentioned that I hoped that their contributions were acknowledged in terms of more competetive pay.
Now I'm worried that the reviews I left them might have been too long winded for HR/Senior Management to read through.
I also feel like both of them aren't even being paid a competetive wage. What else can I do to try and get them increases? I have spoken with my own manager who agrees with me, but he also said his manager is focused on the budget. Any ideas how I can convince the people who have the power to sign off on increases to increase their pay my more than the standard COL increase?

Charleston, SC, Orlando, FL, or Charlotte, NC?
My fiance and I are trying to determine where to live next. Some things that are important to us are: plenty of things to do every weekend such as food festivals, walkable areas, good food, plenty of young people to help us create a sense of community, plenty of job opportunities for growth, safety, etc.
Does anyone live in these areas who could provide insight on which one might be better?

The workplace is high school.
Some places are worse than others. I see blatant favoritism from upper leadership down to administrative staff. This is why I want to work fully remote so I don’t have to deal with the petty office politics from the snub from a coworker passing by to promotions of the favorites. This is the type of company I am working for. I will be gone in a month since I am moving. It’s old and draining. Just needed to vent.

Resume keywords where do I look for them or what would count as keywords for jobs like Receptionist/office manager?
I need to know as my resume has been getting nothing but denials left and rights since May of this year and its becoming disheartening. My husband is working full time so thankfully we have our basics covered but I need to get back into the work force soon.
