My incentive for this project comes from personal experience: I was receiving dozens of enthusiastic recruiter outreach emails, but for the most of them, I knew little more than their names. (One day, I received an email from John Deere and had zero ideas what this company does!) I had to Google most companies to learn about their industry/mission and then to find their booth number from the official Exhibitor List pdf. That wasn't very efficient or effective, so I wanted to build something to make this process easier for myself and fellow GHC'ers. I pulled the company data from the Google Knowledge Graph API, and I will continue working on fixing missing/wrong entries. Please feel free to suggest improvement here or on GitHub. In all, I hope this website will aid you in navigating the Career Fair at GHC'19. Let's connect if you are going!
