Be prepared to work every on call shift as a clinical employee. The only pumping room is meant for new mothers babies in the NICU, and is rarely available for employees. This leaves the only options for pumping in the public employee lounge or a dirty patient room. Getting paid for maternity leave was extremely difficult due to incompetent HR staff.

A strong female workforce is not reflected in the senior management team. However, general treatment is very positive and equal.

July 2016

Very flexible work schedule as long as you are responsible and accountable for your workload. No paid matetnity leave, but can take ample unpaid leave as necessary without fear of losing job.

May 2016

Depending on the position and the manager is great professional growth and opportunity. While there is very little appetite to create formal family friendly policies, most employees are able to do what they need to do to balance their day to day work and family responsibilites.

I have worked here for over two years, and within those two years, there has been 75% turnover rate. A lot of great people came and went within that time. Low pay.

Starting out you won't make much money or get too many hours scheduled. They will cross train you in other hours if you ask; but if you want to work in the other departments you have to hope they schedule you or pick up hours by being called in or if some one chooses to give up their hours.

October 2015

Primarily women working here (3 men in total, no on Ops). Contrary to what 99% of the Valley assumes when I tell them this, there is no cattiness, fighting, or drama. Just driven, brilliant, remarkable coworkers giving it their all each and every day.
