Communication is complicated here. Oftenly, outstanding informations are disregard by the top management which creates a lot of pression over the employee.

September 2017

Management was consistently unaware of how much time and effort goes into both daily and sporadic projects, which lead to inefficiencies throughout the organization. In addition, this greatly impacted their ability to judge how employees performed.

August 2017

I would not recommend this employer for another woman. While there are many women in positions of leadership, they form a mean girl's club, where they foster growth in males and allow the men in the company to behave inappropriately and subject outsider females to intense scrutiny.

Lush really fosters a culture where it's a lifestyle as much as a job. The difficulty in that is that people have lives. The district managers are expected to travel 50% or more of their month. While most retail companies have districts that are close to the person's area of residence, Lush spreads it all out, which is environmentally unfriendly and also doesn't lend to work/life balance.

Great place to work as long as you don't work for the men who take advantage of their power and do and say whatever they want

November 2015

I've worked here for 4 years and there are a lot of women working here, but predominantly in support roles with the exception of a few higher up female executives. Generally I believe they are treated fairly but management is male-dominated and somewhat of a boys' club. Because of this, it seems more difficult for mid-level women to move up here.
