I would highly recommend working for Boston Scientific! The company has a healthy work environment with work/life balance and a great work flex program. There are a lot of great benefits offered along with great perks such as an on-site gym and work out classes throughout the day that are free for all employees. We are highly involved with the community and STEM along with employee resources groups. I would go on and on but overall I would recommend this company to anyone, not just engineers and scientists but anyone looking for a great company to work for!

    Coming from a dual working household with two little kids, I need flexibility with my hours and working remotely, Boston Scientific gives me that flexibility and never questions me at all. As long as my performance is not affected, I am able to work the hours I need to accommodate my personal life.

Boston Scientific is a pretty amazing place. I am a person who wants to feel part of a bigger mission - the company works so hard to give everyone a chance to understand their impact. A big event sites hold annually is the "Everyone Makes and Impact Day". You hear patient stories about the devices they've received, often made at your location. The leaders talk about innovation and are extremely transparent. I love the inclusive feel and willingness to connect to help you learn.

    It is role specific as to the flexibility. For example, if you are on the production side, obviously there are shifts and very specific hours. My role is within a function that does offer the flexibility because much of my work is done virtually. I am able to adjust hours to make it to soccer games and swim meets, appointments for the kids. I am also able to have flexibility for work from home days in my role.
