    The client is king at Cognizant. If you're in a client facing role you could be asked to travel and be in front of the client at any point. It's exhausting. However, working from home is the norm so that provides a lot of flexibility.

I have worked there for 5 years. I see much improvement in women's initiatives, but at the end of the day it's consulting and travel and that may not work well for women with children or families. Ironically, the HR team was very challenging to work with because of the leadership team.
