I was there briefly. Tech-y office culture, nerdy but friendly employees. Great staff lunch and beverages on-site.

Small company with no room for employee growth (3 department heads left this year alone, and all were replaced by outside candidates). CEO is learning to be a CEO on the job, which has led to some whiplash moments are far as strategy/direction/revenue are concerned. Second funding round was similar to the first, and too low for what the company needed. There's a failure to promote female employees to leadership/management roles; most are just given title bumps to do essentially the exact same job. Offers two months of paid maternity leave.

An excellent employer. Within Extension, you're "out in the field" and you'll encounter bias and prejudice among those you serve the general public -- it is invaluable to have a County Director who advocates for all employees.

Avoid. Yes that salary is for a project specialist - not a clerk. Bonus was NOT $10,000; this site didn't even think to make just $5,000 as a bonus option. Now you tell me of any men at this rate? No in-line promotions for years; 2% cost of living increase for 5 years means 'average' rated individuals get 1.8%.
