Save your PTO, as there isn't paid leave otherwise. Also, don't begin by getting into the habit of why you're taking sick leave (sick child). Stay as private as possible, so you're not looked upon as not dependable.

They allow the full 12 weeks, but only paid a portion based on your role. Associate level gets no paid time.

October 2016

Please just don't. It's really depressing. They don't promote women often, and when they do, they're usually only because they're the ones who are compliant and will do whatever the higher-ups (men) tell them to do without talking back.

Autodesk is a pretty great company to work for. They are middle of the road when it comes to policies but are working on expanding policies. Good now...even better in the future.

November 2015

I've worked here for almost 10 years. I think managers are understanding of family needs, if they themselves have children. Maternity leave policy is horrible (you get the minimum covered by disability, though you earn a bank of disability days that allow you to be paid at full salary for that time off). There are some shocking disparities in representation of women in leadership positions at the highest parts of the organization.
