This employer is flexible, challenging and forward thinking. But we get in our on way sometimes and make it hard to do business internally and externally.

I believe that if you've earned the respect of your peers/manager by moving the needle and if you have a unique level of expertise, then most employers would accommodate your flexibility.

it's a good place to work and the best way to promote women here is to get them to work here in the first place

They are flexible when it comes to a salary position. For example you can work from home, and there is a permissive leave policy. In the center where I work there are a lot of female role models in senior positions.

Very good benefits, especially regarding family leave when adding a new family member. Very supportive of life as a mother. We are making an effort to increase gender diversity.

Some departments and people are more respectful of time zone differences than others. I feel like there should be exceptional cause to schedule a meeting for required attendees outside their local hours of 8AM-5PM. This should be some sort of company - managed, at least communicated, expectation.

  • Took Maternity Leave Here? (Weeks)

    16 paid / unpaid

I had 2 pregnancies with this employer. The first one I took just 6 weeks - it was just a medical leave at the time. The second one I took 10 weeks including 6wks medical and 4 wks parental leave.

More flexibility in where I live, considering my job is more than 50% on calls with people not at one location.

There seems to be no problem for parents that need time to spend with or for their children but, what about the people that don't have children?
