She'll be pretty happy with her employer for 3 or 4 months when she will realize that she has no chance of upward movement. She will very clearly see how inferior the executives treat all other females on staff.

Women are definitely treated fairly in my field and given opportunities to advance. There is flexibility in the culture but not as much as one would hope (in theory some functions can work from home but its not looked upon highly).
