October 2018

You need to be prepared to contend with and strategize around a workplace which where gender and race are concerned, managers all say the right things but behave in a way that was last standard in 1999. That said, it is NOT a place where sexual harassment or open discrimination will be tolerated. Subtle but meaningful forms proliferate.

First role supports a great work-life balance. Any job you hold higher than the field sales rep position will consume your life.

June 2017

It's a very "mean girl" environment, with upper management bullying their employees and making them do their own work (and then taking credit for it!). It seems female run, but the people with the real power are the men- often referred to as the "boy's club." People gossip behind other's backs in a shockingly inappropriate way I've never seen in a corporate setting. Stay away.

Because this is a school for special needs children it at times will be loud, chaotic, and stressful. You must always be prepared for anything and expect the unexpected! It is a great facility, but not cut out for everyone so consider if this type of environment is suited to you.

Talk to other women who work or have worked here before making any decisions. There many great things about working here. There many, many worse places you could be. There are also some real problems.
