There is a lack of mentoring at WM and a bias against andavcing and investing in women. They her more women, but most end up leaving.

Give it some time - the leadership is receptive to change, though it may take a while. GBD genuinely cares about its employees, so we will get there.

April 2016

Definitely not easy work life balance for families. Women in leadership positions tend to have stay at home husbands since they can't be with their families themselves.

Their benefits may be standard or higher, but it is viewed negatively for you to take advantage of your benefits. Time off etc. it is incredibly difficult to be able to manage work load and take time off so you end up never taking it off.

This company was ok. Not the best, not the worst, but could have been better. They were sold off to another bigger company.

Woman-led in North America, lots of room to grow and define your own role, need to be a self starter, important bring either experience or connections or knowledge or all three into your role. Need to be able to juggle competing requirements for limited resources and time.

November 2015

Worked at the company for 6+ years, and found it to be mostly a good ole boys network. Have personally experienced discrepancy in pay, and was advised to refuse a woman the same amount of pay they told me to offer a man for the same role.

November 2015

Depending on your role, you can learn a lot. However, there are few opportunities to move up in the organization, both professionally and financially. Very informal culture can make it seem like a warm, supportive environment, but it is also a place that resists policies and structures that can protect people and hold them accountable.

Great women at top levels. That said, it's a small company so it doesn't have some of the benefits you would expect at a bigger place.
