June 2018

It is a great organization for younger women looking to begin their career but not for women looking to develop into leadership positions.

Research and negotiate your beginning salary. The worst case scenario is that they say no. This goes for any employer. It is difficult to catch up after you get the job.

I worked as a happiness manager in my own convenient time, that I decided myself every week. Everyone was working remotely (from different countries) and it was great experience.

Part of the subsidiaries do not get Maternity leave at all. So one finds that female employees leave the organisation.

  • One Thing Employer Could Improve

Improve work-life balance; salaries not paid on time; gaps & delay in renewal of medical insurance; increments unfair (paltry sums) & not paid for full year (partly swindled); full & final settlements of ex employees not promptly settled- delay causing severe grief which could lead to taking legal action against the company.

CDW recognizes that you have commitments outside of this company. This is important because whether you have children or not, the company encourages a balance that caters to you individually. CDW is an amazing corporation that allows each person to be their genuine self. It is also a company that is caring by routinely giving back to local communities through fundraising efforts and volunteer availabilities that may have a deep-rooted meaning to you personally. CDW sponsors periodic friends/family events at local museums and/or kid friendly establishments that is such a terrific way to create a memorable experience on your time.

They say that they're all about diversity, but the true decision makers are 2-3 white men. The company is funded by private equity, which is a business model that doesn't care about things like diversity and employee satisfaction.

October 2015

The women are paid less and have no leadership roles. At the top, it is an obvious "boys club". A few years ago when a position opened up for a VP, the two candidates were women. They felt bad promoting one over the other so made both of them directors and eliminated the VP position. Complete bull. They "felt bad?" Come. On.

You can learn a lot here and gain fundamentals. But unless you are French, or even better male and French, it takes a disproportionate amount of work to advance. This is true across departments.
