There is finally a diversity effort (thanks to a fabulous woman) however, there seems to be serious issues following these initiatives. While there is great diversity in architecture, there is almost zero within engineering. This is especially true at leadership levels.

For the most part, it is family-friendly. The higher you are promoted, the more difficult it can become to openly manage family obligations. There are no women directly reporting to the CEO and only 1 on the official executive team. If you are hoping to look up and see a career path, you may be limited in what you see.

This is a company with a good heart, and as long as you speak up when you feel there is a problem, the willingness to rectify it is always there. The company moves so quickly that it relies on people to be proactive in raising concerns or giving feedback.

I have worked here for 3 years under a fabulous manager who advocates for all her employees (and other deserving employees as well!). It is easy to stagnate or become frustrated if you don't have an advocate, but there are lots of smart people. Leadership is primarily male with women in "softer" leadership roles though there are some exceptions. Maternity leave was no issue and the on site daycare has fabulous caregivers and and open door policy.

Individual male employees were good to work with, but overall it's a good ole boys club. Many senior women have been let go, and few women are in leadership positions. Men still refer to female employees as girls.
