    Be more consistent in executing what they promote. Great website, great public model, poor execution in the sense of going through with the things they promote - like consistent opportunities, regular communication, etc. There are some seeming great staff who work there, but they must be incented financially first by just recruiting attorneys to their stable, because at least the DC area keeps the same specific attorney opportunity (SaaS, tech attorney need) AD running on Linkedin every week. Sometimes the staff call frantic with an urgent need to see if you are interested (yes, I am) and then one doesn't hear back from the same staff member that called you for weeks.

The CEO is all about “women take the lead”. It’s a little harder to see that in action within the restaurant. It’s much harder to earn the respect of a male dominated kitchen staff unless you rule with an iron fist all the time

    As a manager you work very long hours with little flexibility. If you’re he manager on duty you cannot leave the restaurant whiteout another manager present. If the kids take too long to get out the door, the entire restaurants Day is set behind

Punitive, not much work-life balance, just look at your mistakes and they do not encourage you. Severe supervisors. It puts you on the radar if you are absence 3 times in 90 days, so if you have children who are ill, and then you get ill, you first get a verbal warning. I feel I need to apply for FMLA to protect my job, and I don't think they look on their favorably if you miss work.

The firms is focused on areas that are high growth in the Financial Industry currently; therefore, the work is interesting. However, the hours are long and while there is flexibility, there are deadlines for client deliverables. Women who join the firm have to be comfortable in a high energy, direct, environment and willing to play multiple roles across the firm.

Collegiality and hard work are valued here. Work life balance is part of the conversation here, however it can be elusive. Significant travel can be required, depending on the position, and expenses are initially covered by the employee, to be later reimbursed by CSG. This can be a significant financial burden on recent graduates just getting on their feet.

Zendesk is a wonderful place for working moms. They're supportive of taking time off to attend dr appointments and school functions with your children. They actually give you 12 paid hours a year to volunteer at your child's school. They have a Zendesk Moms group on Yammer to share advice and discuss challenges of being a working mom and have a women's book club where women at all stages of life come together to talk about the challenges and strengths of being women in the male dominated tech industry. I really love working there and feel it is a place that I can thrive as a woman and as a mother of two small children.
