It is heavily women staffed and flexible for families. Growth and promotion are not as available given the small staff size and low turnover rates. Men do seem to navigate growth faster.

There is no discrimination between men and women. Many women have leaderhip positions. Of course, more men do though. I wish they had better (paid) maternity leave.

There is great opportunity here for talented employees who work hard and are committed to the work we do as a company. The number of women in middle management is solid, but there is work to do to empower more women to advance into executive leadership. We do have a good number of women in top positions relative to our industry, but that may be a low bar. Flexible work schedules are common and I have always had the ability to work around needs in my personal life with the full support of my manager.

Aflac is a wonderful company to work with! You literally get out of it what you put in. Once you have built an income, if you need to take some time off, it is totally up to you and you can do what you need! Women often do better with this company than men. As long as you have the motivation to succeed and the drive to accomplish your goals, it is awesome!
