Excellent for flexibility and benefits, but lots of room for improvement in equality and advancement despite the fact that the CEO is a woman.

Great place to work, supports flexible schedules and work like balance — but you have to take the opportunity to enjoyit, rather than working too many hours.

Don't do it. They don't practice what they preach. Wait until they have new leadership.

It is a difficult job but a great company. Benefits are amazing. Everything (promotions, salary, bonuses) are based on performance not gender.

It was very much a frat house feel. Some women may be fine with that. I was not. I felt uncomfortable in a lot of situations.

November 2015
Generally the people I worked with were incredibly supportive and gave me access to good opportunities. However, the senior faculty members / scientists are predominantly male and not-diverse. Suggestions to try to hire more diversely were met with disgust about not lowering their standards. People are generally supportive of maternity leave, but after returning, do not provide new mothers the same opportunities as before.

October 2015
Ball is a great place to work. That said, leadership is male-dominated and not diverse, as few women are selected for higher positions than manager level. Maternity leave is paid 60%-100% of base salary (i.e., no bonus) for 6 weeks (or 8 weeks for C-section), depending on how long a woman has worked at Ball. New employees (<1 year), only get 1 week paid.

Deep need of better management. However, most employees below C-and V-level are really great people and talented.
