In general everyone is treated like garbage, but women are treated even worse. Its a boys club. Even the women in leadership treat the other women like garbage!

There are not a lot of women in general, a very limited number in any sort of management, and none in executive leadership. Primarily women who work here are in support roles, with only one or two in engineering and sales. Generally, women are treated fairly, but as in any male-dominated area there is definitely a "boys club" and with an older generation of men, women are often considered the "girls" of the group and treated as such instead of as valuable assets.

I've worked at Yahoo for over 5 years. I believe that women are treated fairly and there are many women in management roles. However, the opportunity to cut back on hours or obtaining a job share do not really exist for working mothers. Almost everyone works more than 40 hours a week so it doesn't leave you with much of a chance to see your children at the end of each day.
