Commercial real estate, as a whole, is a male-dominated field. Difficult to get foot in door, but once you are established, there are lots of opportunities.

New maternity leave policy of 6 weeks of "two year average earnings" - but if commission employee, this is equivalent of $960 a week (equivalent of $48k per year). Most people in a commission role would have average earnings well above this. 6 weeks only if at the company more that a year; 4 weeks if under a year.

Be clear on your goals and timeframe for advancement and salary expectations on your way in. If you are hired below market rate, you could stay there without adjustment.

Overall, friendly to all genders. Still could be isolated incidences of people not being completed equal in the way they treat others.

It's not nearly enough; I was able to take/afford 7 weeks with my son and 13 with my daughter. The 13 weeks allowed for much more bonding time and it's evident with my relationships with my kids.

Have your baby somewhere else and then come work at RMS. The Maternity leave policy is antiquated. This is especially odd for a Silicon Valley tech company.

This is not a company that values work-life balance. There are no women on the management team, where most others are in support or mid-management positions with little opportunity for growth or development.
