June 2018

It's a great place to work and they value work-life balance. Although they have a lactation room, they do not provide paid maternity leave which is probably one of the few negatives.

June 2018

It's a positive space in many ways, but in many departments (and particularly mine within the business school) there are no women in leadership positions, women are not included in decision making even when they should be, and some negative "traditional values" bleed into the workplace in an unprofessional way.

Great flexibility in hours with kids. Availability to work from home on average once a week in most departments. Could have better paid parental leave.

Great benefits, if looking for something stable this is the place to be. However, if you are looking to innovate this is not the best culture.

February 2016

H&M is a company bulit on fashion and is really great about freedom of expression (to a point, as professionals). They have excellent benefits, the best being that you and your partner (non married but very much together) receive health insurance equally. Pay is very good for a retail job.
