Again, this is not the place to be if you have a young family. You will miss school events. You will be late picking up your kids from daycare more often than not. You will work during the day one night and flip to nights the next.

Flexibility depends entirely on the manager. My previous manager here was fantastic and recognized that "life happens".

Commercial real estate, as a whole, is a male-dominated field. Difficult to get foot in door, but once you are established, there are lots of opportunities.

New maternity leave policy of 6 weeks of "two year average earnings" - but if commission employee, this is equivalent of $960 a week (equivalent of $48k per year). Most people in a commission role would have average earnings well above this. 6 weeks only if at the company more that a year; 4 weeks if under a year.

Not terrible for women, but senior leadership skews heavily male seems unbothered by that fact.

May 2016

The management treat most women poorly and don't believe we have any value in the workplace. There is no leeway for family obligations during work hours. You are at work or you lose points on your review and don't get a raise. It's pretty much that simple
