MSCI is a self-described autocratic company. You are expected to be there from 9am on the dot to 5pm on the dot. You cannot come in early and leave early. And working from home is virtually non-existent.

Nothing. The sales department of MSCI is unscrupulous and will do anything to gain a sale or steal a sale from an insubordinate or colleague.

It all depends on the team you join, but the key is to own your needs from day 1. Management is supportive of people who don't ask whether it is ok to put their family life first when needed.

Women are not fairly compensated and there are zero women in leadership. The maternity policy is a joke.

March 2017

Amazing, smart people who care about each other and support one another. Feels great to work for a company that gives so much to help the world ($ and volunteer hours) - inspired by how we impact the world. Love working for a top brand. Great work spaces. Family focused. Excellent career opportunities. Almost no red tape - have an idea --> run with it.

Good company but career stalls once pregnant. Most managers have stay at home wife's. Several women I know got demoted whIle on maternity leave or within a year of returning. HR is the watch dog to protect management.
