March 2018

Run run run away- Due to the culture of the Greeks that founded and run this company+the typical old-boys-club, I would not recommend this company for women, especially working mothers.

This is a rare opportunity to not have gender step in the way of accomplishments. 4/5s of the management are women. Men make up less than 20% off the staff. We tend to hire very bright people, regardless of their sex.

Modernize the culture and management structure. It takes to long for change to happen. There is a hierarchy and the main decisions are made by the management team which tend to bottleneck the process of any type of innovation from taking place quickly.

Gender never even crossed my mind at this company, because I was never treated differently than any of the other employees. We were all evaluated based on our completed work, not based on our gender.

You better have a lot of time to spend doing this, I cover 13 states in a truck decorating homes. Long hours, long days and then you go to sleep in a hotel and stay you will do until the job is done.

The work environment offers a significant opportunity to learn and has strong female mentors, which is one of the reasons I chose to work here in the first place. While nowhere is perfect, it has overall been a rewarding experience.

January 2016

The look of the executive and management team has changed drastically over the past couple of years. It's gone from an all male, mostly white team to having more/less complete gender balance (still a ways to go with ethnic diversity). Many of the leaders at the company (both men and women) have children at home and really understand flexibility and work/life balance. That said, there's a lot of hustle and aggressive deadlines so you feel like you are getting a lot done and making a real impact on the world.
