They have more temp staff than permanent staff. As such it is hard to be an administrative staff person as most are supporting upwards of 15 to 25 people.

Do not. The environment it too toxic and the company will not support change of any kind. There is no support from the senior executives and the company does not feel there are any gender issues to be addressed in the workplace.

The environment. The environment supported by the senior executives and the owner is extremely toxic. This adds stress to a job where you are already working over 60 Hours per week. There is also no issue embarrassing or harassing managers in front of the other managers, directors, officers and owner of the company at monthly meetings.

Women led and thoughtful company. Dedication and hard work required, sometimes there are times when flexibility competes with deadlines.

The maternity leave policy is bizarre. Women can and have been promoted, but it's still a bit of a boys club.

This company varies a lot based on the region and branch you are in. Market Leaders are like CEOs of their branch or branch clusters so policies can vary greatly depending on what Market Leader you are under.

this is the government. you will make the same money, but you will not be treated the same. if you do high-level management work, you will still be seen as a clerk. if you are a man, you have initiative; if you are a woman, you are pushy. the work is still worth doing, but you need to be able to handle this stuff.

The department definitely needs more women professors, but in my time here I didn't ever feel like I was discriminated against. The University as a whole is pretty good about promoting women-centered events and seminars as well through the Women's Center.
