    It could improve on the four areas above - promote women into leadership positions, improve work-life balance, improve compensation and could vastly improve benefits. For an IT Company to offer only one day off for Christmas, for example, does not reflect the industry or US standards. They just recently added opposite-sex partner benefits in addition to same-sex partner benefits, but the opposite sex partners still have to pay an additional amount each year, which is not true equality.
