HEB is a wonderful place to work at. I have worked there for six years and never had a harassment issue and I was able to move up to a manager position while also being a full time college student.

Great benefits and culture. Need to look at opportunities to promote more qualified women into management/higher level roles.

Like most tech companies there are a lot of men, but the company is improving now they have hired a lot more women but mainly on marketing side.

Management treated everyone fairly but there was a huge issue with the office being a frat house. I was involved in a lot of uncomfortable discussions among my peers and it management/HR didn't do much about it. There also wasn't really an HR team or protocol for these kinds of issues.

August 2016

Great HR policies. Old school management. I heard my boss wondered if I was single because I was a lesbian among many other statements about women not needing to be promoted but have families instead. Sr.management knew about the issue but refused to change it.

Depends on the office, but what I mostly see is men in senior leadership. Men who truly mentor and advocate for women are rare, but they do exist. The trouble is that you may not report to one.

Hard to say. There are no set policies so it really depends who you work for as to how things will go.
