    Flexibility depends largely on the organization you work for. IT will differ from HR will differ from Finance, all of which are very different from Engineering, etc. There are pockets of progressive attitudes and practices, while other orgs struggle to catch up from a cultural evolution perspective.

This is an old company, there are some departments that are dominated by women (Finance, HR) and others where females are few and far between (IT, Engineering). Most people in leadership roles are males, with a HUGE lack in diversity. The support from other females however is amazing.

    We have a program called UTfleX that allows remote work. This is great for new mothers or expectant mothers. But also its really nice to have some time off from being in the office.

Important to identify a woman mentor early on to help navigate company. It is valued to be adaptable and willing to move across divisions. Limited women in leadership positions and usually do not stay within the position for a long period of time.
