The higher up you are in the organization. the more resources you have available to utilize however the lower you are the harder it is to be able to utilize any resources available. Execs preach work-life balance but lower levels don't get the opportunity to practice it.

    It was disheartening to see upper management new moms get promotions as they returned to work, however anyone in lower non-management roles don't even have the opportunity to apply for roles while they are out on maternity leave.

Overall, management is flexible with providing a work life balance and flexibility to women with families. I have the ability to work remote a day or two a week and that helps, however, you have to be in certain roles to have that capability.
