Very few senior female leaders. Very political, leaders look out for themselves, not their team. Little internal development resources.

Empower employees to do the job they were hired to do. They typically hire senior people and promise broad scope of responsibility and resources that do not exist

  • Recommend to Women?

Maybe. Depends on the department, manager and leadership

In general, it is a constant battle to be noticed, respected, and taken seriously. Management is comprised of white men, for the majority. Company is divided into many different groups/departments, acquired companies, etc.--experience may differ between these groups.

There are very few women at the Vice President level and above. There is definitely a glass ceiling here. Women who are looking to advance are given the most difficult assignments.
