It’s a good company to work for. They do not discriminate against women.

The location is beyond stressful and work life balance is not good. It’s hard to work here not because of being a woman but just in general.

The employer is great, & I’ve heard most stores aren’t run the way mine is. But I wish mine was more relaxed.

Have my boss understand that because I’m pregnant the store & my job are top priority number 1 anymore but rather my health & the health of my child is.

  • Recommend to Women?

Maybe. I would recommend my company but not my store. My store manager has higher expectations than is possible to meet & expects you to get a laundry list of tasks done & when you can’t makes you feel like your incompetent at your job.

Walgreens pays lip service to diversity. The organizational culture is extraordinarily prejudiced and misogynistic.

I have worked for three different managers who have overlooked sexual harassment claims because the man involved was well liked by the male boss. I have also witnessed a female fired for missing work to go to appointments regarding her pregnancy.
