Negotiate hard for your salary but don’t expect them to be competitive . This company is immature in terms of HR, and other professional skill sets normally found in technology companies. Because they lack key policies a career ladder definitions they inadvertently create gender gaps. Ask what level others in your role are at and ask for the same.
