I really enjoy working here, and I think they are trying to be thoughtful about growing as a company. They are fostering a community that is woman-positive and encourage their employees to develop. However, the maternity leave is prohibitive to staying if a female employee is thinking of starting a family. They have added maternity leave, but the bulk of the leave is stitched together from sick/vacation time, FMLA, and short-term disability - its a lot of pressure for a new family. Overall, they are a respectful, thoughtful company that has more growth ahead in their policies.

The company offers many interesting, demanding and rewarding jobs at the forefront of the industry, but still has some potential on work-life-balance for parents. I think we need to contribute to improve the company culture to be more female friendly - or the company will loose the best candidates

    Please note: Length of maternity leave subject to local governmental regulations overruling company policies. Maternity leaves worked fine, but more challenging to return to work as not family friendly. I can easily work 50-60 hours per week with some flexibility on when I work (for instance early mornings or weekends). I can't work 4pm-6pm due to pick-up from child care and family dinner. This was respected by local management, but not by international management.

Good launching pad, but wont promote you. People are friendly but there have been lots of transitions in the last few years and people are heading for the doors. Also the gender discrimination is really rampant and yet they don't see the problem.
