I am officially going to be offered a promotion with my company, but the position will be in another state and i just found out i'm pregnant. should i take the job, even though we will most likely move back after we have the baby? should i turn down the promotion to stay close to family during the pregnancy?

There is a girl who is jealous of me at work. She wants to be the popular one and does not like it when the guys in our office would want to hang out with me, There is one guy in particular whom she is interested in romantically but she sees the chemistry that I have with him and is jealous. So she is digging for information about me in an effort to sabotage me professionally and socially.

How did people here decide on whether to go with daycare or a nanny? I'm lucky to have a choice but would appreciate others sharing what they think the pros and cons are of both.

I am considering a move to a new company and their maternity policy states that employees receive 3 months fully paid. It does not specify a minimum length of time one must be employed with the company to receive this benefit. Am I then legally protected to receive this benefit if I end up becoming pregnant within the first year of employment? Or must I clarify now (before deciding to accept the job) that I will receive this benefit regardless of my length of employment? I am nervous to be unhappily surprised down the road but also skeptical about bringing up this clarifying question now considering I am not currently pregnant. Would very much appreciate thoughts/help on this topic!
