Business Analyst - Order to Cash

3M is establishing two industry-leading companies, creating value through the spin-off of its Health Care business, while 3M will continue to be a global material science leader, focusing our innovation to win in favorable global megatrends and attractive end markets. This new Health Care Company will be a leading global diversified health technology company with:

We expect the creation of the two companies will be completed by the end of 2023. For now, we will continue to operate as one global company. This role is positioned to drive the success of the "New Health Care Company”.

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Business Analyst - Order to Cash, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Leads projects to uncover root cause analysis of collections anomalies through collaboration with the Collections and Credit Analytics departments
• Interprets data and comes up with recommendations for business function strategy based on deep subject matter expertise
• Creates and manages complex dashboards that drive actionable insights through data exploration and advanced visualizations
• Gather project requirements from business partners and execute solutions that address their needs
• Develops projections for operational targets and executive level presentations on goal attainment
• Partner with departmental leaders to provide KPI reporting and ad hoc data requests

Your Skills and Expertise 
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
• Five (5) years of experience as a business analyst in a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Master's degree or higher in Business Administration (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
• SQL, Tableau, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, PowerBI, Python
• Healthcare order to cash experience
• Solid analytical skills
• Familiar with agile methodologies and project management tools such as JIRA, mural, etc.
• Experience with Oracle EBS and GetPaid applications
• Basic levels of understanding of revenue recognition and accounts receivable management
• Experience in evaluating business processes, developing requirements, innovating and implementing solutions.
• Structured approach to effectively and efficiently planning own workload
• Ability to create ad hoc data models and generate insights using SQL

Work location: Work Your Way Eligible (Employee choice to work remote, on site, or hybrid)

Travel: May include up to 5% domestic travel
