Director of Strategy and Business Development, HISD (New Health Care Company)

As a Global Strategy and Business Development Director,  you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Lead strategy formulation for Health Information Systems business including strategic planning, portfolio strategy, market intelligence, and competitive intelligence
• Manage strategy execution and support tracking including business measurement and reporting for quarterly earnings and strategic business reviews
• Lead preparation for quarterly earnings call and business reviews
• Partner with broader strategy team to ensure corporate strategy and business strategy execution are aligned both vertically and horizontally (across business segments)
• Lead business development for Health Information Systems segment including: 1) the identification and prioritization of organic and inorganic growth opportunities and 2) the advancement of business growth by partnering with segment business teams, inorganic growth targets, and customers
• Establish and maintain robust partnerships with Health Information Systems management to ensure strong alignment for strategy execution
• Bring thought leadership, monitoring business trends/industry shifts and managing external relationships as needed

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution

OR

• High School Diploma/GED (completed and verified prior to start) and a minimum of sixteen (16) years of combined experience in health tech strategy, business development, and/or marketing in a private, public, government or military environment

• Ten (10) years of combined experience in Health Tech strategy, business development, and/or marketing in a private, public, government or military environment

• Three (3) years of combined experience in Health IT or SaaS industries in a private, public, government or military environment

• One (1) year of combined experience of deal related activity in M&A, Corporate Ventures, and/or strategic partnerships in Health Tech space

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Master's degree in business from an accredited institution
• One (1) year of experience in healthcare and/or life science industries in a private, public government or military environment
• Background in software/technology development, enterprise product management, and/or technology start-up

The expected compensation range for this position is $215,577 - $263,483, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
