The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As an Overnight Maintenance/Janitorial Technician, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Transport luggage and cargo for arriving and departing guests
During events provide customer service function
Custodial maintenance of offices, grounds, buildings, and equipment. Maintain facility in a clean and orderly condition
Makes minor repairs, removes trash and litter and cleans indoor and outdoor areas
Set up of meeting room and meeting break out equipment for guest services
Provide shuttle for guests upon request or offer shuttle during shift hours
Company Vehicle
This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position (if applicable)
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
Two (2) combined years experience in a building maintenance and/or cleaning role in a private, public, government, or military environment
Current, Valid Driver’s license is required, as you will be issued a company vehicle for this position (if applicable)
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Technical diploma/Associate’s degree or higher from an accredited institution
Experience in facilities maintenance and with understanding of janitorial process and equipment
Skills including; strong communication, mechanical aptitude, and problem solving ability, also clear understanding of the customer service industry
This position will require:
Weekend work (depending on rotation of schedule)
Working holidays (depending on rotation of schedule)
Working a night shift (11pm-7:30am with varying schedule; four nights on and two nights off)
Willingness to be on call
Frequent physical demands, including:
Frequently lifting up to 25 lbs. (unassisted)
Occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs. (unassisted)
Working at heights (utilizing ladders)
Operating machinery, including a company vehicle
Travel: May include up to 5%domestic
Location: Park Rapids, MN
Relocation Assistance: May be authorized
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
