3M is seeking a Production Operator in Wausau, WI. This position is a Full-time, Rotating Shift, and OT is required.
Job Description:
The person hired for the position of Production Operator will be responsible for producing and assembling products in the plant. They operate and maintain machinery, ensure production standards are met, finalize products, and prepare them for shipping.
Responsibilities:
- Observing all safety procedures, and maintaining a clean and safe work area
- Applying quality instructions & specifications
- Monitoring the production or packing operation to ensure quality objectives are met
- Loading/unloading material into & from equipment
- Working as a team member through sharing information, problem-solving & assisting others
Required:
- Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher
- Shift work, rotating days, afternoons, overnights & weekends, and overtime
Desired:
- Minimum one (1) year of plant and/or manufacturing experience in a public, private, government, or military environment
- Post-high school education
- Basic computer knowledge
