3M is seeking Production Operator candidates for Rockland, MA!
- Our plant operates 24/7 so we have multiple shifts available, including days, evenings, overnights, weekends, 8 hour shifts, 12 hour shifts, etc.
- Note - If you are selected for an overnight, evening or weekend shift, you may be brought onto a different shift initially for training purposes before starting on your actual shift.
The person hired for the position Production Operator, will be responsible for producing and assembling products in the plant. They operate and maintain machinery, ensure production standards are met, finalize products, and prepare them for shipping.
Responsibilities:
- Observing all safety procedures, maintain a clean and safe work area
- Applying quality instructions & specifications
- Monitoring the production or packing operation to ensure quality objectives are met
- Loading/unloading material into & from equipment
- Working as a team member through sharing information, problem solving & assisting others
Required:
- Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher
- Ability to work day, evening, overnight, and/or weekend shifts
Desired:
- Minimum one (1) year of plant and/or manufacturing experience in a public, private, government, or military environment
- Post-high school education
- Basic computer knowledge
Pay: $20+/hour + Shift Differentials/Weekend premiums
Overtime: Voluntary (not mandatory)
