The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
The person hired for the position of Wound Care Clinical Specialist will primarily be responsible for the education and training on 3M’s Advanced Wound Care & Skin Care product lines for our customers in a clinical setting.

As a Wound Care Clinical Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Leading the training for clinicians on 3M Skin & Advanced Wound Care products for evaluations, conversions, and ongoing education.
• Supporting product evaluations & conversions with follow up education, troubleshooting questions, and data analysis of results.
• Providing educational programs on Skin and Wound Care topics that support 3M business objectives.
• Supporting Sales and Marketing efforts at local, regional, and national trade shows and or meetings.
• Willingness to support account managers during sales calls by providing clinical and technical information that enhances the sales process.

Company Vehicle

This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
• Five (5) years of general clinical experience in licensure specialty in a private, public, government or military environment
• Current unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP), Physician Assistant (PA), or Physical Therapist (PT) license
• Currently certified or certification eligible in Wound Care (CWCN, CWON, or CWOCN) or as a Certified Wound Specialist (CWS) or eligible to become so within 12 months of employment
• Current, valid Driver’s License is required as you will be issued a company vehicle for this position

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Two (2) years of Skin & Wound Care experience in a private, public, government or military environment
• Current membership in a Wound care professional organization (i.e. WOCN, AAWC)
• Understanding of adult learning principles
• Ability to function independently
• Organizational and time management skills
• Technical presentation experience
• Public speaking experience
• Microsoft office proficient
• Salesforce experience a plus

Work location: Work Your Way Eligible (Employee choice to work remote, on site, or hybrid) Territory: Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Palm Beach, Florida

Travel: May include up to 50% domestic travel
