As a Designer, you will be responsible for design and develop control systems for new projects according to customer requirements, including control circuit design, PLC programming, HMI screen design, etc. for Robotics & Discrete Automation Business Area in Shanghai, China.

Engineering Manager

Your responsibilities

• Being responsible for design and develop control systems for new projects according to customer requirements and ABB UI standards, including control circuit design, PLC programming, HMI screen design, etc.
• Assisting mechanical engineers in technical consulting with customers, understand customer needs, and propose customers with solutions
• Participating in the electrical standardization, such as drawing standards, electrical component standards, document classification, etc.
• Writing technical development documents

Your background

• 3 years or above, working experience on non-standard equipment development
• Proficient in at least one of the main brands as Siemens, etc.
• Proficient in one of the popular industrial configuration software (Intouch, WinCC, IFix, etc.)
• Proficient in Electrical drawing software (EPLAN)
• Familiar with various industrial fieldbuses (Profinet, Modbus, EtherCat, etc.)
• Experience in GI industry is preferred
