As an Associate Project Engineer for Process Automation Business Area in Shanghai, China, you will be responsible for assisting in handling the IT network and Cyber Security issues of projects.

This position reports to

Engineering Manager

Your responsibilities

• Working in conjunction with sales team, PM, service and channel partner
• Joining the project’s meeting and know how to proceed the software engineering
• Preparing the material of interface meeting, prepare of detailed Bill of materials for project
• Preparing various project’s documents following project’s schedule timely
• Programming and make mimic of system
• Preparing software’s FAT and complete the FAT successfully
• Joining the automation commissioning of project
• Performing good communication and coordination with yard and owner
• Following ABB internal guideline and safety requirement

Your background

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer major or IT network
• 3-5 years of experience in design or engineering related to Network
• Prefer experienced candidates with knowledge of ABB Controller and 800xA system
• Good English and Chinese communication skills (reading and writing)
• Proactive attitude and willing to take challenges and encouraging & motivating the whole team to do so.
• Availability to travel domestic and oversea
