    Account Manager

    As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the strategic/local account(s) strategy focused on share of wallet growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Coordinating the sales activities and manage resolution of specific customer problems. Reporting to Local Division Manager, you will be developing a close relationship with key customers in each segment. Identifying customer needs, pain areas, and propose solutions in coordination with the sales manager and tendering team to overcome the customer challenges. Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction through proactive positioning, technical selling, and services to specific customer needs.

    Your responsibilities

    • Application knowledge of industrial processes as they relate to Measurement & Analytics. Providing technical support during the technical meeting, product presentations and negotiations and offers product/solution/service-related training
    • Creating, implementing, and reviewing measurement & analytics segment strategy. Leading the definition of the industry footprint (market presence, execution, and delivery model)
    • Activating operation intelligence, benchmarking, and analysis in order to identify best processes, equipment, automation practices, etc. Analyzing customer needs and competitor offers through general market information and information provided by local Sales organization
    • Ensuring measurement and analytics value proposition is developed and well communicated (internally and externally). Setting up and supporting a multi route to market local sales strategy to ensure they are positively perceived in the measurement & analytics segment
    • Ensuring that the major accounts in the measurement & analytics segment is identified and prioritized. Mapping market requirements and opportunities to actions for factory experts and product drivers and coordinates with and other relevant teams. Following up regularly with channel partners, contractors and OEM to promote ABB’s MA Business Unit
    • Building and maintaining strong relationships at senior levels with the key stakeholders, customers and contractors and educate them about ABB’s MA products
    • Ensuring the team is well prepared and has the necessary internal support to pursue and manage large projects. Helping negotiate complex legal and commercial international frame agreements. Sales support at the feed stage and bidding stage of projects
    • Will be working closely with colleagues from with the existing country sales teams and the wider regional and global sales teams to leverage opportunities, share market intelligence and develop the wider ABB business in Vietnam

    Your background

    • Bachelors’ degree in a technical field, preferably analytical, instrumentation or electrical engineering
    • 5+ years' experience in sales, marketing and/or service of the water, oil & gas, power plant, cement, chemical, petrochemical, steel industry
    • Solid understanding of PAMA products, application, solution and level technology and markets
    • Product knowledge about Flowmeters, Pressure, Level, Temperatures, Force measurement, Liquid analyzer, Gas analyzer, Control valve, Recorder and Controller, Service, etc
    • Experience and knowledge about ABB’s measurement and analytical products and system is an advantage
    • Technical training and product training experience
    • Demonstrated experience with MA and third-party competitor analyzer equipment
    • Competitor knowledge and passion for selling and winning
