    Position summary

This role is contributing to the Process Automation Process Industries division You will be mainly accountable for: • Leading the development and implementation of the account plan and Statement of Work growth actions. • Understanding the key business drivers, including significant and emerging business risks (e.g., sustainability/digital/cybersecurity) of the relevant global customer's business and business environment, translating them into the corresponding impacts and opportunities for ABB. • Participating in the development of sales strategies for the account through providing current business and long-term plans for the customer. • Defining sales targets, giving input on market price developments monitoring competitors' activity with the account and ensuring that appropriate response strategies are implemented.
    Qualifications for the role

    • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required, and 8+ years of industrial experience.
    • Travel up to 70% may be required, including internationally.
    • Significant knowledge of engineering principles, technical sales experience, knowledge of automation products/systems, understanding of project schedules, managing technical support personal to delivery cohesive message to customer.
    • Knowledge and customer relationships in the metals segment area in the region is preferred. Will be an added advantage to the candidate who possess the knowledge and customer relationship in any of the segments listed. (Food & Beverage, Data Centers, Batteries, or Cement) and AC/DC drive experience.
    • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
