As an Accountant Payable, you will be responsible for processing accounting transactions for Accounts Payable (AP) in a complete, accurate and timely manner while ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and procedures and external regulatory requirements. Reporting to Accounting & Reporting Manager – AP, you will be Assists in developing and implementing processes and procedures, and continuously optimizes to gain efficiency and drive productivity gains. This position is based in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Your responsibilities

• Processing Accounts Payable transactions, ensuring accurate tracking and processing, payment timely
• Recording expense timely and allocating prepaid/expense to related business departments
• Collaborating and supporting business to fix any issues related to invoices and payments
• Managing account payable balance and make sure advance amount (if any) must be cleared with payable to avoid overpayment. Checking pending AP item, find the root cause and take actions accordingly
• Complying with and helps achieve internal control over financial reporting compliance in accounts payable for applicable templates

Your background

• Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field
• 3+ years relevant experience in similar role and work environment
• Having certain knowledge and experience relates to VAT, CIT regulation. Good understanding of Vietnamese accounting
• Ability to work independently, teamwork spirit, enthusiastic
• Excellent in Microsoft Excel is required. ERP familiar is a plus
• Good spoken and written English language skills
