    Position summary

    supporting the month-end close process including account reconciliation, preparation of journal entries, balance sheet review, etc. The work model for the role is: #LI-onsite,#LI-hybrid This role is contributing to the Finance Operational Service based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Accounting & Reporting Manager and will be responsible to lead a group or team focused on the complete, accurate and timely completion of accounting activities within team. Ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and procedures as well as external regulatory requirements You will be mainly accountable for: • Monitoring & ensuring monthly Payroll accounting, Payroll related Accruals, Salary disbursements and Payroll clearing are done as per schedule for all the responsible countries we handle . • Performing general accounting activities and recording of financial transactions on pre and post payroll related. Conducting investigations and reconciliations of all payroll related accounts as necessary on a regular basis for any discrepancies. • Performing accounting analysis and generate reports to support finance and business leaders to facilitate decision making. • Performing month end book closing activities. • Manage the stake holders .Co-ordinating with Internal and External Auditors on various issues. • Initiating the Quality improvement initiatives in the R2R payroll area
    Qualifications for the role

    • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
    • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in general accounting, reporting, reconciliation and processing of journal entries, it will be good if that person has a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Payroll related accounting activities and must have the experience in handling a team.
    • Must have experience in Record to Report (R2R).
    • Must be flexible in working for any shift timings .
    • Good communication skills .
    • Working knowledge in MS office (SAP Knowledge is a must)
