    Your responsibilities

    • Management of the supplier accounts.

    • Complete the process from purchase order to final payment.

    • Ensure the verification and approval of payment policies.

    • Issue cheques.

    • Verification and monitoring of the quantities received and the prices paid.

    • Reconciliation of discrepancies and tracking of accounts payable.

    • Conciliation and reconciliation of accounts (suppliers and others).

    • Bank reconciliation.

    • Provide support to the senior accounts payable manager and to the cost analysts.

    • Collaborate, share, and communicate with team members.

    • Know and comply with occupational health and safety rules.

    • Participate in the continuous improvement program.

    • Perform various duties related to the position.

    Your background

    • Diploma of collegial studies (DCS) in administration, accounting, or finance.

    • 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar position (accounts payable, general and/or financial accounting).

    • Experience in a manufacturing environment.

    • Basic knowledge of cost pricing.

    • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, more specifically Excel.

    • Great attention to detail and precision with numbers.

    • Autonomy, resourcefulness.

    • Good organizational and priority skills.

    • Team player.

    • Good communication skills.

    • Familiarity with accounting software (AS400) is an asset.

    • French and English, spoken and written (bilingualism essential).
