You will be working as Administration Manager and will be part of Motion business rea for Large Motors & Generators division based in Vadodara, India. In this role you will be reporting to Location manager and will be responsible to Lead a team within a production unit or line in the execution of production processes to transform parts and raw materials into ABB products in a timely, cost-effective manner and ensuring continuous and efficient operation in accordance with volumes, schedules, procedures, drawings, and quality and safety standards and policies.

Your responsibilities

• Handling 55 acres of company premises and 1200+ employees administration, security & facility management
• Planning and managing the delivery of a service to the relevant business to meet current needs, identifying performance gaps and addressing emerging requirements
• Establishing metrics and monitoring performance and service delivery to ensure maximum efficiency, quality and customer satisfaction
• Providing technical leadership for staff within specialized function or process areas and developing, implementing and improving relevant processes, policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness within area of accountability
• Managing external organizations and providing services (e.g. holds third parties to agreed service levels, provides guidance on ABB health and safety requirements and work practices)
• Providing technical leadership for staff within specialized function or process areas and participating in defining the annual budget for area of responsibility and is accountable for managing performance against agreed financial targets and constraints

Your background

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in EE/computer science engineering.
• 10 to 15 years of experience in administration function
• Preference of ex- army services
• Experience in handling manpower /team and exposure in security function
